Two and Counting | goshen family photographer

I got to spend time with this growing family during a beautiful spring evening. I got to chase these kiddos around while they rode tricycles and ran around the yard. Afterwards, the little lady invited me to go out with her for milkshakes. How could I refuse?!

Sweet Light | middlebury child photographer

I'm taking a photography class right now with Alison Tyler Jones. Tonight, I enlisted my niece into letting me take some photos of her for this week's assignment. The assignment was to take some pictures with "sweet light" - the light that you find an hour or so before sunset. Sweet light for a sweet girl!

Baby Shower

I had the honor of hosting a baby shower for one of my friends. We finished our basement remodel with 2 days to spare, and was very thankful for that. There were about 19 ladies who came to celebrate (plus another new baby). I took some maternity pics for my friend, and I used one of them for a little gift for the guests (which you can see in the last picture).

Blue

My niece was excited about finding this robin's egg that had been abandoned by its mother. I just love that color (I nearly painted my basement that color)!

Oh Baby! | goshen family photographer

One of my good friends is going to be a mother very soon. I'm hosting a baby shower for her, and I was inspired by some images I saw from other photographers. I called her up and (thankfully) she was a willing participant. I can't wait to meet this new little guy!

Turning One | nappanee child photographer

This little guy has these deep blue eyes that are the envy of this brown-eyed girl. His mom and I had a good time chasing him around, and we even had a shoe casualty in the process (as you can see in the last photo). Next step for this one year old - walking!

My Spring Break

I didn't travel anywhere over my spring break, but I did get to enjoy one of my favorite pasttimes...shopping. I went to Michigan City with a friend (not the most ideal weather day to go to an outdoor shopping outlet - it had snowed the night before), and found these fabulous red shoes. Later, I picked up this adorable flutterby plate. Not sure what I'm going to do with the plate, but I love it!
